This can be partly solved with the feature that divides a given lesson into sublessons of given sizes. However, the requested feature would also be extremely useful when lots of vocabulary accumulate for revision---it would choose only the given number of entries for the current session. For example, these could be chosen as the entries that would expire soonest (which would basically mean that entries on low levels would be chosen with priority, but if some entry on a high level has not been practiced for so long that its expiry date is very soon, then it would be chosen instead). Thus, when it happens that a large number of items need to be revised, this feature has two advantages: - it helps to concentrate on the entries that are most likely to be forgotten soon, which is not necessarily the same as the entries on the lowest levels; - if some entry is answered incorrectly, it comes up within the same short session---as opposed to just starting the revision practice with all words that have accumulated and simply ending it after N words have been answered correctly. Hey, this is done now. :) It's in master and will be released with KDE applications 4.13. You can configure it in the "configure training" dialog in the "General" tab under "Sessions". |
