Description Unknown 2008-09-04 20:42:20 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unspecified Linux

I know that KDE has sound options for when the desktop is initiated and during shutdown.

But I would like KDM to have options for when KDM's login prompt is initiated, the username/password is denied/rejected, and for when their is a successful login.

Also, a third prompt (hideable) for multiple domain/realm logins for samba and kerberos, etc. This option may already be available; I not familiar with KDE and domain logins.

never put multiple issues into one report.

anyway, the domain thing does indeed exists. you just have to use the winbind conversation plugin (PluginsLogin=winbind).

KDM is unmaintained and not used in KDE Plasma 5.

SDDM is the login manager used in KDE Plasma 5. If you still have this same issue with SDDM, please file an issue on the SDDM bugtracker (after doing a search for existing issues first!): https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues/
