Description Sergei Andreev 2008-09-04 13:59:24 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

kget ignores setting: "Place new downloads insight default folder"

And I always have to confirm manually designation folder.
Comment 1 Martin Adler 2008-10-13 09:12:16 UTC
I can confirm the above stated but worst setting the default folder and
applying the setting causes kget to crash for me.
Comment 2 Karthik Periagaram 2009-02-07 08:25:19 UTC
Confirmed in KDE 4.2. Checking the option to place new downloads inside a default folder has no effect and a dialog box still appears asking where the download should be saved.

Please fix this bug as it spoils an otherwise flawless Kget experience! Thanks!

Fixed in trunk already, now there's a checkbox to either use the default directories as suggestion or not...
