Compiler:          gcc version 4.2.1 (Apple Inc. build 5564) 
Installed from:    Compiled From Sources

As stated in the title Opening the config dialog hangs amarok for a bit on OS X. This happens for about 10 seconds and if any audio is playing it will cause playback to stop .

Perhaps related to recent changes by sebr or markey to generalconfig.ui.

I just checked. This happened before those changes. Let's see how far we have to role back...

That debug output is really useless. Can you somehow provide better info? Otherwise it makes little sense to keep this report open.

looks like it's gone on 10.4. Still need to test on 10.5

In 10.5 if audio is playing and the config dialog is launched, clicking on one of the sections can still cause audio to hang. Not getting any crash/bt anymore however.

So I'm closing the report, cause it's not very helpful. I reckon sooner or later someone will find out what the problem is.
