Version:           3.0 (using KDE 4.1.0)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

i'm using kubuntu 8.04 with KDE 4.1, if i type my password correctly, everything works as normal, but when i mistype my password, kdesu doesn't pop up telling me "wrong password" , it just ignores it, and never run the program, i have to manually re ask to open it.
this specifically causes problems when the program needed, is a background program, so i have no means of checking if it worked or not except by checking htop or some other process viewers.
