Can you still reproduce this bug with a recent KDE version? (4.1.3 / 4.2beta2 / 4.2svn) ? Thanks :) This may be related to some toolbars bugs in KDE4.1 which are fixed in 4.2 I don't have a KDE 4.2 system, but this bug is definitely present in KDE 4.1.3. (Archlinux) Interestingly, the button doesn't even show up as an option to add to the toolbar if you are not at a webpage (eg. about:konqueror). The option shows up on a webpage (eg. google) but the button is still not displayed on the toolbar. Hope this helps. More info here using: Qt: 4.4.3 KDE: 4.1.86 (KDE 4.1.86 (KDE 4.2 >= 20081221)) kdelibs svn rev. 901348 / kdebase svn rev. 901348 on ArchLinux x86_64 - Kernel 2.6.27.10 When you are in "about:konqueror" the option "Open in Another Browser" doesn't appear in the Configure Toolbars dialog. After browsing to a website (ex. www.google.com). The option appears in the Configure Toolbars dialog and you can add it to the toolbars. The icon appears in the toolbar and works OK (the site is opened in Firefox when pressed). However, after, closing and reloading Konqueror, the toolbar dissapears, and in order to activate it again you have to go to a website and add it from the Configure Toolbars dialog again. *** Bug 202301 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Exactly the same here on kde 4.3, archlinux. The same with the "Open with Arora" button. The problem still exists -- exactly as described -- using KDE SC 4.5.4 / Qt 4.7.1 / Fedora 14. Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 10 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved. |
