Version:            (using 4.1.60 (KDE 4.1.60 (KDE 4.2 >= 20080709)), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-19-generic

After connecting to a webdavs:// url with the file dialog, I want to save the location in the places menu.

I drag the little folder over to the places menu and ... nothing happens. No error message, and no new entry in the places menu.

This may be tangentially related to Bug 166692. The old-style add menu from the KDE 3 places menu could help out in this case.

I found a way to work around this bug:

Add a normal folder to the places menu, then edit the
entry and paste in the webdavs:// url.

With Bug 166692 closed, this one does not bother me at all anymore.
Works just fine to right-click and add the entry.
