The default of alt+home is fine, but if you try to set a shortcut involving the ctrl key, the home page will always open in a new tab.

Confirmed in 4.1.1 in Opensuse 11.0.

Downloaded openSUSE-11.1-KDE4-Reloaded-LiveCD.i686-4.3.1-Build4.1 and bug is still present.

Still present in 4.3.2 . (I know the KDE 4* series isn't at parity with KDE 3.5 and isn't supposed to be used yet, but this bug has been open for a year and I'd like to use KDE 4 at some point. :) )

The problem -- setting a shortcut for the home page which includes the Ctrl key -- is still present in KDE SC 4.5.4 / Qt 4.7.1 / Fedora 14. (The Home page setting appears twice in this version BTW)

Both issues mentioned are reproducible, but no clue why this is the case.
