Version: 4.0.0 (using 4.1.00 (KDE 4.1.0), 4.1.0-5.fc9 Fedora)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25.14-108.fc9.i686

Hello together,

I tried to strace the ktimetracker issue today from bug 169588 but had no luck so far. When I finished work in the evening, I noted something rather odd: The total session time was wrong. It showed a session time of fifteen hours though I only accounted 5,75 hours.

When I resetted the session, it showed 11:00 instead of 00:00. I've took a screenshot before and after the reset. After a restart, everything was fine again (third screenshot).

Thomas

Thanks for your bug report. At the moment I am trying to reproduce.

I saw a similar problem a couple of days ago, directly after having migrated from Karm to Ktt (is the migration the problem??): Needed three clicks on "Start New Session" to get _all_ values in the column reset to 0:00.

However I could not reproduce it today.

please add an ics file where you can observe the behavior

I reproduced the behaviour today: Select File::StartNewSession, and the values of "Total Session Time" were reduced, but not reset to 0:00. (I backed up the .ics file at this time.) However, using File::StartNewSession again reset everything correctly.

I also have a problem with confidentiality of my .ics files. It may not be obvious to attach it to this report. :-(

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I will be closing this bug.
