I think this is another bug that needs to be solved before Amarok-2.0.

If I remember correctly, in Amarok-1.4, albums that had different artists were automatically put under "Various Artists".

In Amarok2 is only possible to add them manually: if one person has many compilations, OST, etc, this can be really annoying.

Amarok 2.0 is in feature freeze so we can't fix this there.
Milestoning for 2.1 for now (pending developer feedback).
