confirming this in french too with kde 4.2 Beta2 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 212004 *** |
Version: (using KDE 4.1.0) Installed from: Slackware Packages First of all I am using ru_RU.UTF-8 system locale, my KDE seems to be configure the same. If you go to "system settings" -> "Personal Information", and type in your name(I type in Russian), it would appear there. Press "apply" button --- it is applied. Then where evever you shoud see your name(for example in KDM, which is also has setting Language=ru_RU.UTF-8), u see just questionmarks("??????"), instead of your name.
