In the default Oxygen style there is no distinctive (bright or wide) border surrounding the active window, which makes it difficult to determine which area of the screen belongs to the active window. Currently, one must hunt for the stripes (which are very difficult to see on sub-quality monitors or for those of us with poor eyesight) and then try to figure out how wide they are and then how much of the screen below belongs to that window. There is almost no visual seperation between the currently active window and a window below it. The active window needs a visual frame, not just a shadow.

The default style, whether Oxygen or something else, must be both usable and visually pleasing. Oxygen currently is very pleasing to the eye, but usability suffers due to the lack of visual distinction for the active window. Other than that, I commend and congratulate the Oxygen team for their wonderful work! Thanks!

With the new shadows and blue border this could be closed. and of course there is ozone for those that do not like oxygen.

The default KDE 4.2 theme has windows borders, so this issue is resolved. Thanks.
