it seems now to crash whatever i do it does not even let get to that file, i open dolphin, i am able to open to or three folders but after that it just closes showing me the bug report window, can not even get to that file anymore sorry.

Can you try to attach/upload the test file from Firefox/Opera ? (you don't need to use Dolphin/Konqueror)

The screensaverconfig file that originally crashed Dolphin :)

this is the file that i was trying to open when dolphin crahed for first time.

it was in a hidden folder (/home/carlos/.kde/share/config) so i had to copy it to another folder so i could attach it.

Version 1.1 Using KDE 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.0 (4.1 >= 20080722)) (KDEmod) in ArchLinux i686:
I can't reproduce the bug. I can browse with Dolphin in the folder that contains that file and even open it (with KWrite)

What's your output for the command:  "strigidaemon --version" . May be your strigi version is old.

Hi,
i previously filled bug report 169627, but right now it is not reproducible. I'm using:

$ dolphin --version
Qt: 4.4.3
KDE: 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3)
Dolphin: 1.1

This bug is not reproducible with the latest strigi version 0.6.2.
Running 'valgrind xmlindexer kscreensaverrc' results in 0 errors.
