This should be fixed now. Please reopen if not. Thanks for your report. This isn't fixed. Lydia, maybe you're referring to this http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&sortby=date&revision=847552 or this http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&sortby=date&revision=847793 commit. But they both refer to the CollectionBrowser. The problem I have is with the FileBrowser, and only with files *not* in the collection. Thanks Mikko. Indeed I was referring to those. Looks like Lydia forgot to close. Nope I didn't, Ian ;-) It is still a problem as Mikko said. Fixed. Reopening since http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&sortby=date&revision=878873 Maybe sort per number AND album? Is this still valid with current SVN? Nope, it's fixed :) Thanks! When I drag & drop some files from the collection to the playlist, they appear unsorted. This could be a regression, or (more possibly) a slightly different variation on the same theme. I listen to classical music - the tags are most likely slightly different from those used for songs. Namely, I use the tags recommended for Ogg files: COMPOSER, GENRE, TITLE, OPUS, CONDUCTOR, PERFORMER, etc. In Amarok, I sort my collection by Composer, Style and Title. This works very nicely, except that drag & dropping e.g. a symphony (same Composer, Style and Title, but 4 files: one per movement) to the playlist lists the movements in a random order. Please do not comment on bugs closed since 4 years for a version which is long obsolete. FWIW: You should at least not yours.have an artist or album artist tag set. |
