okular not able to copy correctly
I copy the same section of the document in kpdf and okular. kpdf behaves as it
has been for long, okular's behaviour was equal to that before last week's
update.(in my memory)
have attached to the bug report. Please see. In the former case the text is parsed following the rows of the table, in the latter the text is parsed following the columns. But at the end the result is the same as only one column of text is created. Do you confirm that the problem is related to the poppler backend? I'm marking this as fixed, Okular from KDE 4.8 will include a new text layouting algorithm and it will also include a "Copy text from table" mode, so you'll be able to make sure the text extraction works fine. If after updating to KDE 4.8 you don't get the behaviour you expected please reopen the bug. |
