Description Witold Sowa 2008-08-09 12:21:36 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I'm using folderview configured to display content of some FTP directory. It works fine if my network connection is online, but if I start KDE without connection, folderview displays ordinary dialog with information that cannot connect to server.

This is quite annoying, that every time I use computer without network connection I have to click OK.

It would be nice if folderview would display this popup "inside itself" instead of showing new window. I'm very poor artist but I hope that attachment shows the idea clear enough.

SVN commit 872189 by fredrik:

Show error messages generated by KIO while listing a folder inside
the folderview, instead of in a message box.
