Version:           v0.9.7 (using 3.5.9, compiled sources)
Compiler:          Target: i586-manbo-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.24.4-desktop586-1mnb

If I try to install any package listed using the "Software Manager" or "Package Manager" (te appropriate installer tool, at all), the system shows an error message (in Portuguese) meaning "There was an error during the package installation. RPM database is blocked (used by another program). It is imposible beacause just the Software Manager is in use at the same time.

Excuse me but "klipper" is not a package manager. Klipper is the little tool on the system tray that allows you to manage your clipboard. Did you intend to say "kpackage" ? You must be sure about that because there are many package managers available out there and we wouldn't want to have a bug here in kde that refers to a non-kde product.

So, could you please *accurately* tell us which tool do you mean?

Sorry, but you should report problems with your distribution to the bug tracking system of the distribution, not KDE's.
