Version:           basket-1.0.3-6.1 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:                Linux

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create two baskets, A and B.
2. Create two text note "A1" and "A2" in basket A.
3. Group the notes "A1" and "A2".
3. Create a text note "B" in basket B.
4. Drag the note from basket B to basket A.
5. Have a look in basket A.

Expected result:
The note "B" appears as a single note at the end of the basket A.

Actual result:
The note "B" appears grouped with "A1" and "A2".

More information:
If I have more than 1 group in basket "A", the note "B" will always appear in the first group.
I have tried putting the selection at the end of basket "A" before moving the note, and hoped that the note would be inserted there, but without success. Same behaviour.

I can confirm this behavior,

it's still present, also in the kde gitlab version

This issue has been resolved in the latest gitlab version
