Me and my mate tried to transfer files between jabber accounts but without any success. (NAT problems, wrong proxy setting or whatever, I guess it doesn't matter that much. ICQ transfers work just fine) There was no transfer established there where just the dialogs asking where to save the file. Kopete created the files in the selected location but it did not remove them after the transfer failed resulting in many 0byte files. I would like to have these files deleted automatically after a failed or aborted file transfer.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
