Description Richard Hartmann 2008-08-07 16:44:42 UTC
Version: 0.5 (using 4.1.00 (KDE 4.1.0), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.26-1-686

Offer a way to create & then print games.

Partially solved games should make the difference between the initial puzzle and the user-created partial (and possibly wrong!) solution obvious.
Positive and negative (see #168609) hints should be printed, as well.

More than one game on a single sheet of paper would be great.

Ideally, with a way to print different kinds of game modi on said one page.

Printing of games were there in KDE 3 version but was not yet ported... This should change for 4.2 or 4.3
Comment 2 Richard Hartmann 2008-08-07 23:36:11 UTC
Ah, OK. I never played it in KDE3, so this is news, to me. Thanks :)

Printing is now offered, but seems really awkward. It says your configuration is set to wait until you have enough boards to fill a sheet of paper... But it doesn't offer to print immediately, or say how many boards will be needed!

Yuk - it printed when I closed Ksudoku (or actually, it said it printed - maybe the printer is turned off or something).

Oh right, it printed it to a PDF file as I requested. 3 boards are on the page, a fourth would have fitted. The print distinguishes the starting symbols from those entered by the player. I believe it lacks the notes.

I guess this could be marked as resolved, although the way this works is really awkward. You probably need to print 4 boards until a sheet will come out (untested), or you need to close Ksudoku. Even though the message says something about configuration, I didn't find any setting about that (KDE 4.10).
