*** Bug 176530 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** humm I think I need to fix this... the bug is valid.. Still valid ? Could not find an "utilities" submenu in applications tab. I see a "tools" with a "gear" icon, which is ok. So marking as fixed. Feel free to re-open (and post screenshot) if it is not the case. Created attachment 63914 [details]
Utilitily entry with a terminal like icon
I think this is what the reporter means.
Or, see the attached screenshot in bug #176530 . Created attachment 63963 [details]
menu
My menu looks like this, using kde compiled from trunk on a Mageia 1 distribution.
I wonder if there are distribution-specific .desktop file in one or the other (or both) screenshots.
Cheers,
Hugo

I have arch/gentoo/debian-sid/fedora on my machine, and the 'Utilities' top-level entry is there and shown with a terminal-like icon in all distros. Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved. |
