Sorry, the backtrace is useless, as it doesn't contain debugging information for KMail. See http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports Also, please include more detailed instructions on how to reproduce the bug. What version of KMail are you using? The crash occured when trying to open an email (of a folder 'a' with 25 emails, read before) during downloading the status of a folder 'b' with > 2500 messages, which was not opened before (during downloading the "status" of the folder). The mail server is an exchange server. The version of Kmail is 1.10.0 (on openSuSE 11.0, x86_64) It crashed before in a comparable situation (first: looking in the spam folder with > 5000 emails, not opened before in this kmail version; during downloading the status of this folder, trying to open an email which was opened before) Do you still experience this bug ? if yes, Could you please provide a useful backtrace as explained in comment #1 ? Thank you. No news from the bug reporter, closing. Please reopen this bug report if you experience the same bug again with a recent KDE (4.1.4 / 4.2beta2 / 4.2rc1 / 4.2svn / 4.3svn) . Thanks :) |
