I can't reproduce this, sorry. It could be a problem with your Phonon (from KDE) setup.
Comment 2 Steph Reed 2008-08-13 04:49:37 UTC
I am getting the same problem. Very annoying when listening to long mixes (like 2 hours), pressing pause always restarts the track.

Version: SNV from 2008-08-12
GCC: gcc 4.3.1
Phonon: 4.2.0-3

I also am experiencing this problem!

Mandriva 2009.0
Amarok 2.0.1
KDE 4.1.3
Comment 5 David Todd 2009-01-20 11:35:12 UTC
This and other problems have now disappeared from my system! It appears that after an upgrade you have to rebuild your collection and then do a reboot?

Comment 6 David Todd 2009-01-20 13:00:42 UTC
The problem has returned! It seems that it occurs AFTER rebuilding a collection is complete! Amarok then has to be closed and restarted.
Comment 7 Olli 2009-02-11 17:20:11 UTC
This is not resolved, I can confirm that this still happens on my machine. I think (not sure, sometimes works) it has to do with the collection rebuilding as David above said. After a restart it works fine.

Well, I can't reproduce this with current Amarok 2.2-git. And as far as I remember, this is solved since quite some time in trunk.
