Open the Add widget dialog, move the scroll-bar, click in the text field (enter search phrase here), enter whatever text, delete the text and ... the descriptions are gone. I can see only the white and gray stripes with a little bit of graphics (stars...). But no text.

There is a second issue, maybe related to this one. In the Add widget dialog I clicked on Install New Widgets/Download from internet. I downloaded some widgets (I can see the uninstall button), but I cannot see them in the Add widget dialog list.

I'm running the latest KDE 4.1 delivered as a ArchLinux package.

I can confirm that using KDE4.1 from Kubuntu packages.
The descriptions only disappear if I scrolled before.
