Ability to have location bar show both ('edit' +'navigate') modes at the same time. :p

So, I can click when it makes more sense, and type when it makes more sense.

I know of CTRL-L, and it does not accomplish what I want here... :)

Hopefuly someone else thinks this would be useful too?

I'm not sure I see how this would be possible to implement. One mode presents a text field, the other shows you clickable buttons. Since this UI element is basically the same as a web browser's URL bar, try to imagine how they would implement such a feature there (I don't think they could). And switching between modes is pretty easy already.

Patches are always welcome though, and if anyone can come up with something that works well, we'll definitely consider it.
