I hope I got the translation right because I'm using the German language pack and therefore I don't know whether my   terms are correct:

For the ALT+TAB you are able to set different effects. The fourth entry in the particular list within Systemsettings ->Desktop->Desktop-Effects is "Box with Minipictures?" which I'm not able to deselect. If I doing so, after using "apply" and quitting the dialogue, it is again checked after reopening of systemsettings.

After having a look at the configuration file kwinrc it seems to me, that the dialogue within system settings is not correctly reading nor saving the configuration file: If I set the kwin4_effect_boxswitchEnabled=false manually, the window manager shows the correct behaviour. Starting systemsettings afterwards, the correspondig checkbox is still selected. Saving the settings now, the manual entry is overwritten by the selected "true".
