Please give more detail. Read also http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html, please. How did you send the message? Normally, when KMail stores sent messages in the local sent-mail folder, sending messages has nothing to do with IMAP. So how did you end up with a message in an IMAP sent-mail folder? 2 possibilities for putting sent mails into an IMAP sent-mail folder * Identity - > advanced > Sentmail folder -> select IMAP Sent mail (same for trash and templates) * folder -> properties -> keep replies in this folder IIRC the problem once existed also in KDE 3 I can't reproduce this by using "Keep replies in this folder", with an online IMAP folder.
