Description stephaneguedon 2008-07-20 11:31:37 UTC
Version: 1.10.0 (using 4.00.98 (KDE 4.0.98 (4.1 RC1)), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-19-generic

When I want to read messages that I have allready send (in the "send-mail" folder), I can't.

Whereas I can when I read messages from other personnes (in all states : read, unread...)

I think this bug can be reproduced simply : open kmail (kde4 of course) and try to read the last mail you have send.

I don't know if it's important, but I use kmail in Kontact (kdepim).

thanks

What do you mean with "I can't"? Are the messages not in the sent-mail folder? Or is there something wrong when you click on them? If so, what?

I can not reproduce this problem, I can read all my mail in the sent-mail folder without a problem.

Thanks for responding (and not thinking I am under drugs...)

The messages seems to be in the correct folder. I can view the top window.
But, when I click, I can't read the text of the mail in the bottom window.
I join a screenshot to show you exactly how it is.

Best regards.

Ah, this seems to be the same as bug 149715 then (which I also never reproduced on my current computer). Marking this bug as a duplicate of that one.

The only strange thing is that this happens for _every_ message for you.

Right-clicking the sent-mail folder and choosing "Rebuild Index" might bring your messages back.
