Description Dominik Tritscher 2008-07-19 10:38:04 UTC
Version: 2.0-SVN-Neon (using KDE 4.0.98)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

In amarok's settings dialog under "general", it is impossible to change the default browser. After changing the value of the corresponding drop-down list, the "apply"-button stays disabled. After clicking Ok and reopening the settings dialog, the default browser drop-down list is set to an empty value again.
The same applies to the "use another browser" textbox.

SVN commit 835309 by nhnielsen:

BUG: 166979 Simplify the general config screen somewhat by getting rid of the dropdown box of external browsers, and just puting the custom browser text edit there instead. This makes sense as we cannot possible keep up to date
with all browsers on Linux, Win and Mac, which would lead many people to use the text edit in any case. This also makes the config dialog a little bit less tall. Oh, an Amarok actually saves this setting now, thus closing the
bug! :-)
