Upon further investigation, I find I can in fact move some plasmoids, I'm guessing those which have click handlers that cause them to move (for instance, the Analog Clock plasmoid). Most of them however will not move under any circumstances (for instance, the Binary Clock) After awhile of playing with plasma, my widgets began working as expected again, but after restarting plasma the problem is back. Hello ! When you said "it looks like Plasma thinks I want to drag the plasmoid somewhere", can you please provide us a screenshot to that ? Thanks It appears that the problem was in the kubuntu packages, as they released updated versions which do not have the issue :-). For the record, I meant as in a plasmoid drag to the panel, where the plasmoid is moved into a seperate containment so you can see what your dragging on top of the panel. The original desktop copy of the plasmoid is faded out until you release it. |
