Description Aniket 2008-07-17 22:15:07 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.98)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

Hi,

I am running Kde 4.0.98 , in chat windows with tabs, the default shortcut to jump tabs is ctrl+. and ctrl+,
WHile these work fine , I want to change these to ctrl+tab , like all other applications I use, but I did not find a way to change that in Kopete shortcuts settings anywhere, nor in KDE System Settings. I changed the jump tabs shortcuts in Dolphin using its shortcuts config menu, but this is apparently not possible in kopete.

Works fine here with trunk. Notice that you have to change the setting in one of the chat windows ("Settings" => "Configure Shortcuts"), not in the kopete main window.

Ok ..My Bad!
But , this is a little weird with KDE 4 , as all applications can then have different settings for switch tabs or other actions. In kde3 , all applications followed one theme for these common shortcuts (configured through Kcontrol) , and that seems much better behaviour.
