Sentry Crash Report:

Description Gregor Waluga 2008-07-17 16:44:18 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.98)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I installed 4.0.98 yesterday out of the Kubuntu 8.04 debs. When I start OpenOffice, Plasma crashes. When I switch off Desktop effects with Alt+Shift+F12 the problem remains and Plasma crashes again. Also all configuration get lost. If I don't want to restart KDE, I have to press Alt+F2 to launch plasma again.
If it has something to do with it: KDE 3.5.9 is running in another session. OpenOffice is closed there.

Please read the following page and provide a backtrace for this crash : http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports

OK, I think it's not a bug anymore!
When I tried to backtrace it with gdb I recognized that I copied an old Desktop-file from 3.5.9 to plasma which contains "/usr/bin/oowriter" as command. When I started OpenOffice from the K-Menu, OpenOffice started without any Plasma-crash.
Now the command is "ooffice -writer %U". This seems to be ok for plasma.
