When a Java application is active, the entire panel start to show big glitches, like plasmoids disappearing and strange artifacts appearing.

It happened with Netbeans 6 and with Eclipse.

Notice that I'm using "Elegant" theme, and compositing is on (opengl), but this happens with Oxygen theme as well

upstream video driver issues.

So, it's invalid, but how did I get rid of it? It's pretty annoying having to work with that bug

any tips?
