I can confirm this in KDE 4.2.0. Very annoying especially if the laptop has a slow touchpad since the speed settings aren't restored too. I always have to open systemsettings and apply the mouse tab. At least my problem seems to be fixed in a newer Ubuntu version (Jaunty) so it might be distribution related. Given we set X settings it's a good chance it's been fixed by an X upgrade. I've not seen any other reports on this in the past few years so I'm going to assume it's no longer an issue. Please reopen if it is |
