Version:            (using KDE 4.0.83)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

When I have 10 or more windows open, plasma (and I think it is the taskbar) takes 23 - 27 percent of cpu. when I add more windows, this number gets even higher. With only two windows open, plasma takes about 1 or 2 percent. I have an Core2Duo with 2,4 GHz.

Hi !

do you have lock/logout plasmoid installed on your panel,
if yes this is a know bug that was already resolved before rc1.

if it is the case can you please close the bug report, if not can you list
all the plasmoid you have on the panel,
