Description Cadé David 2008-07-11 21:10:41 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.83)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

It is just a graphic glitch.
When I have an application that is half over an icon of a folderview, if I mouve the mouse from the application to the icon, there is an blue highlight over the icon that is drawn.
When I move my mouse back in the application, this blue highlight remains, and it shouldn't stay (I think, at least).

I have also set the 'focus follows mouse' option of kwin, it could come from that.

(KDE 4.0.99 (4.1RC1+) in ArchLinux)
I (think) can't reproduce this bug

The blue highlight that you see is like "hover highlight" or "selected highlight" ? (the last is a lot more brighter than the first)
Comment 3 Cadé David 2008-07-25 11:55:03 UTC
It is the hover highlight. I can have this highlight over every icon on the folderview when I use the method I have presented in my original post
Comment 4 Alex Merry 2008-08-12 15:33:15 UTC
Do you still get this with 4.1? There have been a few hover bugs fixed since 4.0.83, I think.
Comment 5 Cadé David 2008-08-26 11:43:07 UTC
I still get this with 4.1.
I will compile the trunk to see if it is gone.
Comment 6 Cadé David 2008-08-28 12:37:01 UTC
It is fixed in the trunk.
