Please add options for working with compressed files to the Dolphin context menu, such as Konqueror has. Specifically missing are options to deflate rar, tar, and zip archives, and the ability to make an archive from a folder. The option to create encrypted archives would be a nice addition. Thanks.

I've reassigned this to Ark. AFAIK there is already such a service menu available at http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php/Extract+And+Compress+KDE4?content=84206, but I did not have the time yet to try it...

Thanks Peter. I did not realize that it was Ark's responsibility to include themselves in Dolphin.
