Screenshot of the artifacts as they appear on screen
This is a screenshot showing how the artifacts appear around areas on the
screen after switching desktops.
What effects to you have enabled? Does it also happen in OpenGL mode (If possible)? Try slowly disabling the effects one-by-one until the problem disappears. There are known problems with X/drivers when using compositing with multiple monitors. Unless you can reproduce the same problem with just a single screen (which I can't, not even with two), then I'm afraid there is nothing that we could do in KDE about this. How come it doesn't happen when I'm using compiz+gnome if it is related to X? I'm trying to follow the suggestion in comment #2, but no luck so far ... I did what was suggested in comment #2, and I can reproduce it down the exact plugin - "blur". Unchecking the "blur" plugin makes the error go away, checking it again instantly reintroduces the issue. |
