Version:            (using KDE 4.0.83)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

i try to open a text file in konqueror:
konqueror -> homedir -> file.txt

this brings up a popup that says:
kdeinit could not lauch '/usr/lib/kde4/bin/kate'

click ok, and it shows up again. reclick ok, and kate opens normally

So kate works fine, its just that weird error message while opening a file
