I have the same issue, yesterday I updated my opensuse 11.0 and plasma doesn't work (krunner, with alt-f2, works). Before, with kde 4.0.83 plasma works fine, now when I run "plasma" in konsole I have the follow krash report: X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3 Major opcode: 18 (X_ChangeProperty) Resource id: 0x1c00022 Plasma crashed, attempting to automatically recover KCrash: Application 'plasma' crashing... sock_file=/home/maxx/.kde4/socket-austin/kdeinit4__0 plasma(8820): Communication problem with "plasma" , it probably crashed. Now I wait until the 4.0.84 release of kdeplasmoid. I upgraded to version 4.0.85 KDE and apparently the problem has been corrected. Closing as the reporter says it's now working on next snapshot. |
