Kate crashes when joining several lines in one:

Type several lines in the editor:
a
b
c

Then select all and press Ctrl+J (default shortwut to join lines)
-> Kate crashes.

I have no stack trace but I had the following message in the output:
ASSERT: "m_textLine" in file /build/buildd/kde4libs-4.0.83/kate/render/katelinelayout.cpp, line 68

Duplicate report, and fixed for KDE 4.1 with revision r825816.
