Once in a while the keyboard stops working, and I have to logout and login to get it to work again. I could not really realte this to anything specific, but it constantly happens for a month now. I first thought it was the keyboard/kernel/xorg...but I've changed them all and yet this happens.

Have you checked your settings by trying with a new user?

well seems to be fixed now....same kernel, but qt 4.4.2 or maybe some new cmake...
