When userstatus was changed the Notificationsound was not played

Works on Kubuntu 8.04, KDE 4.1 RC 1

works here, but my default configuration was, that no sound should be played.
when sound was configured, sound was played
kopete 0.5.80 kde 4.0.99 suse 11

Works here to. Kopete 0.50.80 from Kubuntu packages.
Default configuration also was set to "no sound".
