I confirm this bug. I'll prefer the "to do" string :-) Created attachment 25754 [details]
Proposed patch for renaming

I hope this is the correct way to create a diff-patch.
We explicitely changed it from to-do because people were confusing it with KOrganizer todos, in Kontact, especially. The combobox for filtering is confusing too... Ok, IMHO it is not a problem to call it "Action Item", but the status-filtering should use this naming, too. (Or has it been changed already to "Action Item"?) Only one thing with "Action Item": When I had read this the first time, I thought it would be something very special for e.g. scripting kmail by perhaps triggering an event or something. So it sounds like it would be more than just a tag. But this might only be a minor problem. > I hope this is the correct way to create a diff-patch. Yes, that was the correct way. > Ok, IMHO it is not a problem to call it "Action Item", but the status-filtering should use this naming, too. (Or has it been changed already to "Action Item"?) OK, you're right with that. I'll look into that after the 4.1 release if I don't forget about it. Perhaps a little other idea: Why not call it "Mark message as Action" without the "Item"? You would not say "Mark message as To Do Item" or "as Important Item" either. This has been fixed in r840681, it is "Action Item" everywhere now. http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=840681 |
