Version:            (using KDE 4.0.83)
OS:                Linux

With the KDE panel on the right, zooming into the desktop and then zooming back out places the Desktop Config button (what is this called) under the panel. Opening and then closing the panel config resolves the issue.

have to look closely, though.

works perfectly here in trunk; note that you can also click and drag to pan when zoomed out =)
