Have anyone experienced this bug again with a recent KDE version? (4.1.3 / 4.2beta2 / 4.2svn) ? Thanks :) In Konqueror 4.1.85 (KDE 4.2 Beta2) the text is not blinking, but the red underline comes and goes (flashing, almost). To reproduce, go to any textarea and type "health center". The red underline flashes on and off four times. I can reproduce the behavior but I'm not sure I'd call it a bug yet. Or at least, I don't find it that annoying. The flashing the reporter describes is due to the spellchecking kicking in once there's at least two characters and then the red underline disappears as "cent" is typed in (since cent is a word) and comes back with "cente" and finally disappears with "center". May be an minimal interval can be implemented to wait for the user to complete the word he's typing. Just an idea @Dario: I agree with your proposal. That is why I mention in the OP that the spell checker should activate only on a space. Hi, the KDE libaries and applications version 4.x are obsolete and got replaced with Frameworks 5 and now 6 based variants that are still maintained. The issue in this bug doesn't seem to happen for me with these versions. |
