Hi,

It would be great if an incoming IM would wake the monitor up.

When my monitor goes to sleep and my status in Kopete is online, when someone sends me an IM, the monitor does not wake up. If I wake the monitor up by wiggling the mouse, hit the space bar, etc. I see the messages. I'd rather have the monitor switch out of power-saving-mode to show me the IM's when they come in.

Other conditional functionality may be:
If there is a screensaver going, perhaps it would stop the screensaver?

If the session/screensaver is locked due to inactivity, perhaps prompting for the session authentication would be good?

If that's not a clear explanation, let me know.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
