Well, I've changed one motive once. I think it was Solaris, but not sure. Now, when i'm changing motive the panel is being moved from down to the left. It's small thing, but i think, it shouldn't happen when panel is blocked.

Really, I don't know if the panel of KDE 3.5 will be fixed on this minor issue. Moreover I cannot reproduce this bug.

Kicker is currently unmaintained, you can look to your distribution for help, however.
