Description Ale Hamann 2008-06-23 02:09:03 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.80)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

Would be very useful a option to save the packages that are selected to be installed. And that would be possible save this list before to proceed with the install stage, because too many times, adept exit unsuccessful when it's downloading the pachage to install, and one lost a lot of time in start all again (and sometimes forgetting some packages in the selection process).
Greetings!

Not a priority here, sorry. Adept 3 should be *much* more robust, so the need is likely to diminish as well. It won't be utterly hard to implement either, for a possible volunteer. Look at adept/packagedata.h -- we store an ActionList there, you would need to serialize that. The implementation resides under ept/core/apt/action.h.

I have no problems with the robustness. But in any case it would be helpful to be able to save the selection list on one computer in order to read and modify it on another computer.

Adept has been in the unmaintained state for a few years. Use muon[1] as replacement .
