Description Ambroz Bizjak 2008-06-22 00:05:32 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 (Gentoo 4.1.2 p1.1)
OS: Linux

When I place the pointer over a desktop widget, the control box appears, however when the pointer leaves the widget, the box will sometimes not disappear.
In my test, where I moved the pointer away from the Analog clock to the desktop, out of 45 tries, the box failed to disappear 22 times.
The box however always disappears if the mouse leaves the widget through an overlapping window.

Some other info:
KDE: current SVN built with 'kdesvn-build'
Xorg: X Server 1.4.2, NVidia drivers 173.14.09
compositing disabled

Back to Unconfirmed. 152797 is not a good candidate since you're using Qt 4.4.

This is not fixed for me with current svn.
Comment 5 Marco Martin 2008-06-24 14:11:47 UTC
SVN commit 823868 by mart:

let's try to fix this just another time.
don't remove the scene event filter on start fading otherwise the
previous fix will work a single time.
(really need to kill this file some day:)
